Devotion without desire. ( निष्काम उपासना )

Nishkam Upasana. A devotion towards one’s deities with one desire. O lord, “You are mine and I am
yours”. I want nothing but a salvation into your lotus and holy metrical feet.  This is the only desire. This is the only wish. Nothing else. Let my existence be merged in you. This is Bhakti. This is worship. In this pranta – territory, realm one has to think from heart and not through brain. One has to keep his intellect aside. Much scrutiny, analysis is not invited. This is something to be experienced. A matter of cognizance. This is a process of exploring oneself. To deep dive into yourself.  To become introvert. To become ascetic. We will discuss what is being ascetic in forthcoming posts anyways. This is a process of becoming calm, compassionate, composed, totally surrendered and tranquil. Or these changes are bound to happen in a sadhaka. Seeker. once he starts practicing Nishkam Upasana.
This form of bhakti is been practiced by all the saints. Sant Tukaram, Sant Dnyaneshwar, Sant Eknath, Sant Namdev, Sant Savata mali, Sant chokha mela, Sant Janabai, Sant Ramdas swami, Sant Gora Kumbhar, Sant Kabir, Sant Narsi Mehta, Sant Tulasi Das and many more. In these era. Shri Ramkrishan paramhansa, Swami Vivekanand, Shri Yoganand paramahansa. Sant Gadgebaba, Sant pandurang shastri Athavale, Mother Teressa, the list would be much more long if I don’t limit it here. So how to perform Nishkam Bhakti. There are many forms I will unfold in my forthcoming post, however in order to perform Nishkam Upasana a seeker. A Sadhaka has to have certain virtues. Has to follow certain rules. Wouldn’t it be appropriate to discuss this? And also wouldn’t we like to know what exactly a sadhaka is? In my next post. Till Then…

Shri Ram Ram Ram. Shri Ram Ram Ram. Shri Ram Ram Ram. Shri Ram Ram Ram. Go ahead. Go on and

on and on and on.. …………
