प्रारब्ध (Fate)

Before we proceed with Nishkam Upasana, I’d like to discuss about another concept related to Sakam Upasana that we discussed in my previous post. So we may consider it as part 2. As I said, practicing any form of Sakam Upasana is the way to obtain the worldly desires such as a person want to win a heart of a girl whom he loves, he may perform a tantra called Vashikaran is a type of Sakam Upasana. Tantra is again a very different aspect of Sakam Upasana, and is a very vast topic. Let us not discuss about this here. I just wanted to give an example. I will discuss about Yantra, Mantra and Tantra which are some of he aspects of the Sakam Upasana later. One more thing! Upasana is also called as Sadhana. So the aspect that I want to discuss is a PRARABDHA VAAD. I’d like to take this opportunity to seek an assistance of a stanza by one of the great saint – Sant Kabirji. (Kabir. More precisely) I called him Kabirji out of respect. In India if you want to call anybody with respect add ‘Ji’ to its name for instance – if one’s name is Rajiv. Call him as Rajivji. He will be happy to hear from you. Oh! Am I deviating? Let us see the stanza by Sant Kabirji. It is in Hindi. It is also called as Chaupayi.

काहु न कोऊ सुख दुख कर दाता | नीज कृत करम भोग सबू भ्राता |

Let me put it in English words as it is.
Kaahu na kouu sukh dukh kar data | nij krut karam bhog sabu bhrata||

The meaning of this is, there is no body who harms you. Who can be a reason of your agonies, your
failures, your depression, sorrows, shortfalls, problems etc. and there is nobody responsible for your
happiness, achievements, gains, creditability. Whatever you have good or bad, whatever you face good or bad, whatever you experience good or bad, whether you are sick or in a good health, whether you are rich or poor, whether you have friends or foes, the parents you get, the companion you get, the society you get to live in, the children you give birth to .. each and everything is nothing but a result of your KARMA. Deeds.   Your deeds of your previous birth. Your deeds of your current birth. And everybody have to face. There is no escape

Let me elaborate it more.

When one performs any kind, any form of Sakam Upasana to achieve something, he or she may achieve the same as a result however that is not lasting. For example, a lady who wished to become a mother of a child did not get conceived for almost 7-8 years. She approached a saint. As per his guidance she performed a Sakam Upasana, may be she had chanted a specific mantra given by the saint. And she got the desired result. Now she is a mother of a child. But what about the upbringing of a child? Did the child receive good education? Did the child receive sense of good values? What if the child gets involved in the criminal activities? What if the child does not take due care of her in old age? What if the child dies of a deadly disease just at the age of may be 20-21?  It is possible right? In order to gain good marks along with the efforts in studies a student worships lord Ganesh. He gets good marks but is it the end of the story? He want more success. More marks. More competition. Where is the end? Does he get peace of mind? A man performs a Sakam Upasana to win a lottery. He wins the lottery as well. But does it suffice? He would want to win more. Many times. At last one tend to taste the failure, agony, shortfalls, and losses. He may have to face that out of nothing but the PRARABDHA. A baby born with the hole in the heart. A husband dies in the accident just after 3 years of the marriage. A son commits suicide at the age of 15. One want to die but just living with the intolerable cancer. One is spending last days in old age home. No son, daughter or relative is there to take care of him. One enjoys picnic with his beautiful wife and fells off the hill while taking snaps just few days after the marriage. One cannot enjoy his ice scream as he is suffering with diabetes. One cannot enjoy the joy ride in the amusement park because he is suffering from a heart ailment. And what not. That is why Bhagvaan Buddha have said. Life is a second name of sorrows. In this life everybody gets nothing but the sorrows in attempt of making oneself happy. When a person tries to pacify one want, it gives birth to another. Wants are never ending. It becomes a vicious circle. How to get rid of all of this? The answer is Nishkam Upasana. Well in the next post. For sure. Till then.

Shri Ram Jay Ram Jay Jay Ram. Shri Ram Jay Ram Jay Jay Ram. Shri Ram Jay Ram Jay Jay Ram. Keep going on and on and on and on and on. This is called chanting. Off course we are going to discuss about chanting in my forthcoming posts.

Good night!!!
